Cheshire and Merseyside AHP Faculty: Clinical Placements - Sharing Ideas
From Tuesday 15 December 2020 -  01:00pm
To Wednesday 16 December 2020 - 02:30pm

The Cheshire and Merseyside AHP Faculty will be holding two events on the 15th and 16th December 2020 at 1:00pm - 2:30pm, where we will see guest speakers from around the region, highlighting the issues facing clinical placements and sharing ideas which have been used to combat such issues to expand the opportunities for clinical placements.

We welcome all to attend regardless of involvement with the faculty in order to inform and inspire fresh ideas. Our student workforce is the next generation of allied health professions and without adequate clinical placements to meet the HCPC requirements for registration, we risk future workforce supply issues and not meeting the objectives of the NHS Long Term Plan.

These sessions will have a mix of speakers discussing the issues higher education institutes face when coordinating placements and clinicians in various settings who have adopted new models of working to support students while on clinical placements by using different supervision models, remote learning and different technologies.

Please view the itinerary for futher information of the sessions and speakers.

We welcome all AHP workforce and students, professional bodies, private and voluntary sector, higher education institutes, local authorities, HR, workforce, education and development teams.

There is no need to register in advance, however please join 5 minutes beforehand so we can start promptly. We cannot add each individual email address to an outlook invite, therefore please save the following links in your diary.
