First conversation now open: The next Allied Health Professions strategy for England - spread the word!

The first national conversation for citizens to feed into the next AHP strategy for England is now open!

We are seeking a strong citizen steer in this first crowd source for citizens, and the conversation will remain open for the next few weeks until the 22nd of March.

From today, citizens can register at AHPs listen to receive login details for the platform and have the opportunity to answer our key 'challenge' questions about how they would like to receive their health and care from allied health professionals.

If you would like to access any resources to support your own communications on the strategy, you can find these in the resources tab on the crowd source platform.

We encourage you to share the link widely amongst colleagues; local patient and public participation networks, family and friends, to give as many people as possible an opportunity to have their voice captured in the next AHP strategy for England.

You too can respond to the first national conversation in your capacity as a citizen who also uses health and care services, however please note the second conversation in May will be aimed at capturing your views as an allied health professional.

If you have any questions about the strategy or any of the conversations, please contact Stephanie Gates, CAHPO Project Manager, The Office of the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer, NHS England & NHS Improvement.
